The machine calf extension trains your calves. Here is how to do it with good form.

Step by step
- Select the appropriate load on the calf extension machine.
- Sit down and grab the handles by your sides.
- Place the balls of your feet on the footplate. Your legs should be straight.
- Take a breath and flex your ankles to push the plate away as you exhale.
- Hold for a moment and allow your ankles to bend as you breathe in.
